Classroom Management Plan
Daily Entering Routine
Students will:
·         be greeted as they enter the classroom
·         pick up worksheets from the first lab table
·         Be in their seat by the late bell
·         Take out their  science folder, pencils/pens
·         Do the Bell Work listed on the board

Daily Exiting Routine
Students will:
·         wait until instructed to begin cleaning/packing up
·         Make sure the homework is written down in their agenda.
·         Line up by the door when there dismissed

 Restroom/locker policy
If students need to leave the room to use the restroom or go to their locker, they will:
·         fill out their pass with the date and time and  leave it on their desk so that I can sign it
·         exit the room quietly without disrupting
·         take the hall pass
·         return quietly and without disrupting the class

When students are done with their work early
Students will:
·         work on any other unfinished assignments or homework
·         read  their SSR book
·         help their peers if instructed to do so

Getting Help and helping others
If students need help or have questions, they will:
·         ask their neighbor, partner, or group first
·         help, teach, and learn from each other
·         raise their hand if they still need help

Late Work/homework
·         homework will be deducted 10% each day its late
·         homework will be placed in the 'late homework' box
·         students will not receive credit after homework has been graded and passed pack

Working in Groups/partners
Students will:
·         Treat group members kindly and with respect.
·         be encouraging, use positive words, support arguments with evidence
·         share the task, be responsible, be accountable

Using the Pencil Sharpener/hole puncher/stapler/ other
Students will:
·         use supplies  before class or  during work times (without disrupting others), after class
